What does the phrase “Women of Tech(nologent)” mean to you?
I would like to think that these are the Women at Technologent who are “team players” that know how to encourage others in a respectful way, who do all that they can to learn and do their best so that their work does not fall on other shoulders. All-in-all, people who are loyal to Technologent.
Name a fun fact about yourself that you’d like more people to know?
I love to go to Huntington Beach where my High School friend and I go on 20-mile bike rides on our beach cruisers.
How long have you worked in the IT industry?
I have worked in the IT industry for 20 years.
What would you say is the biggest challenge working in the IT field as a woman?
My biggest challenge working in the IT industry is figuring out all the abbreviations in the IT language.
What words would you use to inspire others facing a professional or project-related obstacle?
Admit you are challenged and consult others who have more experience with your obstacle.
Can you describe a recent positive experience working with another woman at Technologent?
We're currently going through an accounting software migration, and it is fun to see a goal accomplished as a team. Everyone has different skills to bring to the table and we learn from each other.
What is a professional/career goal for you this year?
Possibly retirement and moving on to fulfill my purpose in life.

This year in my family we have had a college graduation, a high school graduation, a wedding and the start of being an empty nester after raising 6 boys and 1 girl.
What words would you use to inspire others facing an professional or project-related obstacle?
Be like a duck work like crazy underneath but up top look calm and cool.
Can you describe a recent positive experience working with another woman at Technologent?
Every day is a chance for a positive experience we are so lucky here in the Ainsworth office we have girl power here ....all women!
