How long have you worked in the IT industry?
34 years. My first job in IT started at IBM in 1989. My first Field rep position (account manager) began in 1996. This question makes me feel really old.
What would you say is the biggest challenge working in the IT field as a woman?
I have been very lucky in my career and have not felt any challenges being a woman in the field of IT. I think being a woman has been helpful in some situations. I have always been treated with professionalism and respect from customers and partners.
Can you describe a recent positive experience working with another woman at Technologent?
I have the pleasure of having a rock-star team of women supporting my customers on a daily basis. Misty Davidson – Sales Support, Ashley Brown – Business operations, and Echo Sharkey – Renewal Manager. Each of these women provide amazing customer support and help drive customer success and business growth. Without them, I would not be where I am today. Every day is a positive experience with these women and I am so thankful for their efforts and stellar work.

I have a love for all genres of music. 70s, 80,s, POP, Country, Rap and even heavy metal. I believe music is the best medicine and can always help turn my frown upside down.
