How long have you worked in the IT industry?
Besides taking a few years off when my kids were young, I have always worked in the IT industry in various aspects. My first job out of college was at a small laser printer R&D company in Canada, that eventually designed and marketed their own laser printer. I started in reception and worked with accounting, then moved to purchasing/inventory control, and finally ended up in marketing. It gave me a broad understanding of all aspects of business. Over the years, the majority of IT experience has been in a sales support role
